Bump to Bub

Pregnancy and delivery can result in dysfunction of the abdominal wall and pelvic floor which commonly leads to pain and dysfunction. In order to cope with carrying, lifting and general activities of daily living, the body and in particular the lumbo-pelvic area can start to develop compensatory patterns, which often lead to structures becoming overloaded and pain and dysfunction eventuating.

Bump to BubTM offers women realistic, evidence-based advice, assessment and treatment before and after having their baby. Research and clinical experience has shown that women who seek physiotherapy during pregnancy and the postnatal period have a reduced risk of incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pain.

Our highly skilled physiotherapists work with clients to isolate the problem, help to restore good function and movement then integrate this movement back into their activities of daily living, work and exercise.
